فقہاء کے نزدیک بغیر وضو کے زبانی قرآن پڑھنے میں کوئی حرج نہیں۔ اسی طرح اگر کوئی قرآن کے صفحات کو کپڑے وغیرہ سے چھوئے بغیر پلٹتا ہے تو اسے دیکھ کر بغیر وضو کے تلاوت کر سکتا ہے۔ البتہ بغیر وضو کے قرآن کو چھونا جائز نہیں۔ اسی طرح جوتے پہن کر قرآن مجید کی تلاوت کرنے میں کوئی حرج نہیں۔ البتہ جوتے اتار کر پڑھے تو بہتر ہے۔
