Since it is clearly impolite to sit on the ground right next to someone sitting on a chair and recite the Quran, if the person reciting the Quran is sitting somewhere else and reciting, then the person sitting on the chair should place a chair at a little distance from him. Similarly, if someone is already sitting on a chair, then the person reciting the Quran should also sit at a little distance from him instead of coming close and sitting right next to him. There is no legal limit to the required distance between the two, but rather it is a matter of courtesy, which any person can decide based on the time, place, and nature of the recitation.
چونکہ کرسی پر بیٹھ کر کسی کے برابر زمین پر بیٹھ کر قرآن مجید کی تلاوت کرنا صریح بے حیائی ہے، اس لیے اگر قرآن پڑھنے والا کسی اور جگہ بیٹھ کر تلاوت کر رہا ہو تو کرسی پر بیٹھنے والے کو چاہیے کہ وہ کرسی اس سے تھوڑے فاصلے پر رکھے۔ اسی طرح اگر کوئی پہلے سے کرسی پر بیٹھا ہوا ہو تو قرآن مجید کی تلاوت کرنے والے کو بھی چاہیے کہ وہ اس کے قریب آنے کی بجائے اس سے تھوڑی دوری پر بیٹھ جائے۔ دونوں کے درمیان مطلوبہ فاصلہ کی کوئی شرعی حد نہیں ہے، بلکہ یہ شرافت کا معاملہ ہے، جسے کوئی بھی شخص قراءت کے وقت، مقام اور نوعیت کے مطابق طے کر سکتا ہے۔
