Answer: It should be clear that since the prevailing insurance involves illicit matters such as interest, gambling and gharar, it is not permissible for the questioner to work in the finance department of the said insurance company according to Sharia law. Rather, it is obligatory on the questioner to think about finding another source of income as soon as possible and to resign from this job immediately as soon as the opportunity arises. However, as long as no other source of income is available, there is scope for continuing the said job in case of compulsion, however, along with this, one should repent and seek forgiveness and continue to look for another legitimate job as soon as possible.
جواب: واضح رہے کہ چونکہ مروجہ بیمہ میں سود، جوا اور گھر جیسے ناجائز معاملات شامل ہیں، اس لیے سائل کے لیے شرعی قانون کے مطابق مذکورہ انشورنس کمپنی کے فنانس ڈیپارٹمنٹ میں کام کرنا جائز نہیں ہے۔ بلکہ سائل پر واجب ہے کہ جلد از جلد کوئی دوسرا ذریعہ آمدن تلاش کرنے کے بارے میں سوچے اور موقع ملتے ہی فوراً اس ملازمت سے استعفیٰ دے دے۔ تاہم جب تک کوئی دوسرا ذریعہ آمدن میسر نہ ہو، مجبوری کی صورت میں مذکورہ ملازمت کو جاری رکھنے کی گنجائش ہے، تاہم اس کے ساتھ ساتھ توبہ و استغفار کرتے ہوئے جلد از جلد دوسری جائز ملازمت کی تلاش جاری رکھنی چاہیے۔
