Answer: It should be clear that in the light of the Quran and Sunnah, three divorces in a single gathering, whether given in one sentence or in separate sentences, are counted as three divorces. The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them all) and the great followers are in agreement on this, as is the view of the four Imams. Therefore, in the case of the accused, the wife of the accused has been subjected to three divorces and has become absolutely forbidden. There is no recourse now, and without a lawful shariah, the marriage cannot be re-concluded. Therefore, the accused girl should immediately separate from him and not expose herself to unlawful acts.
واضح رہے کہ قرآن و سنت کی روشنی میں ایک مجلس میں تین طلاقیں، چاہے ایک جملے میں دی جائیں یا الگ الگ جملوں میں، تین طلاقوں میں شمار ہوتی ہیں۔ صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم اور تابعین کا اس پر اتفاق ہے جیسا کہ چاروں اماموں کا قول ہے۔ لہٰذا ملزم کے معاملے میں ملزم کی بیوی کو تین طلاقیں دی گئی ہیں اور وہ بالکل حرام ہو گئی ہے۔ اب کوئی چارہ نہیں ہے اور بغیر شرعی حکم کے نکاح دوبارہ نہیں ہو سکتا۔ لہٰذا ملزم لڑکی کو چاہیے کہ وہ فوری طور پر اس سے علیحدگی اختیار کر لے اور خود کو غیر قانونی حرکتوں سے بے نقاب نہ کرے۔
