It should be clear that adhering to anything that is unnecessary in the eyes of Sharia and advising others to do so, especially when there is a fear that doing so in this manner will corrupt the beliefs of the people and expose them to some kind of fitnah, is not permissible according to Sharia. Therefore, even if the intention of the Imam mentioned in the question is not to be present with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), adhering to it in the mentioned manner and advising others to do so is not correct according to Sharia. Whereas, believing in the presence of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is unlawful and forbidden because it is based on associating attributes with Allaah, the Most High. Therefore, in any case, it is necessary and essential to avoid it.
واضح رہے کہ شریعت کی نظر میں غیر ضروری باتوں پر عمل کرنا اور دوسروں کو اس کی نصیحت کرنا، خاص طور پر جب اندیشہ ہو کہ ایسا کرنے سے لوگوں کے عقائد خراب ہو جائیں گے اور وہ کسی قسم کے فتنے میں مبتلا ہو جائیں گے، شریعت کی رو سے جائز نہیں۔ لہٰذا اگر سوال میں مذکور امام کی نیت حضور صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ موجود نہ ہو تب بھی مذکورہ طریقہ پر عمل کرنا اور دوسروں کو اس کی نصیحت کرنا شریعت کی رو سے درست نہیں۔ جبکہ حضور صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی موجودگی میں ایمان لانا ناجائز اور حرام ہے کیونکہ اس کی بنیاد اللہ تعالی کے ساتھ صفات کو جوڑنے پر ہے۔ اس لیے ہر حال میں اس سے بچنا ضروری اور ضروری ہے۔
